NOAA high / low predictions

Tide Window Planner

Scan the next high and low predictions without losing the datum. Use it to choose when to investigate a passage more closely — not as a standalone clearance calculation.

Navigation check: BoatWaypoint is a planning aid, not a substitute for official NOAA charts, USCG Local Notices to Mariners, bridge operator instructions, on-water judgment or a chartplotter. Air-gap observations may be preliminary and are measured at a designated reference point.

Don’t subtract tide height from a published bridge number unless the references match.

A bridge clearance label and a tide prediction can use different vertical references. BoatWaypoint deliberately keeps this tide tool separate from the live NOAA air-gap tool. When NOAA measures air gap directly, use that measured station for the supported bridge. Otherwise verify charted bridge data and datum relationships before doing arithmetic.
